Waikoko Gardens
Waikoko Gardens is a beautifully maintained outdoor space nestled within the Tōmoana grounds — sheltered, private, and naturally beautiful. Ideal for ceremonies, cultural gatherings, intimate celebrations, and garden events that call for a unique natural setting.
Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition Hall is Tōmoana's premier fully enclosed indoor venue. With high-bay ceilings, flexible floor space, commercial power access, and direct load-in via sliding doors, it is the go-to space for trade shows, large conferences, expos, and gala dinners.
Main Oval
The Main Arena is the heart of Tōmoana Showgrounds. From sold-out concerts to national agricultural shows and community events, the Main Arena delivers the scale and infrastructure for events of national significance.
Karamu Fields
Karamu Fields offers over 12 hectares of flat, open greenspace — the most flexible outdoor space in Hawke's Bay. Suitable for large-scale festivals, outdoor concerts, field days, agricultural events, and community gatherings.
Sheep Pavilion
A rustic indoor function space ideal for semi-outdoor events, parties and rural gatherings
Woolshed
The Woolshed is one of Tōmoana's most distinctive venues — a heritage-character building with high-stud timber framing, natural light, and a raw, authentic aesthetic. Ideal for artisan markets, community events, cultural gatherings, and events that benefit from a unique, character-rich setting.
Beehive
The Beehive is a versatile indoor space suitable for smaller community events, workshops, training sessions, meetings, and breakout sessions.
Presidents Arena
Presidents Arena is Tōmoana's intimate, yet beautiful grass space. Stradling the Ruahpaia stream, and featuring some of the site's most magnificent trees, the arena is 2ha in size. There are powered camping, toilet and shower facilities located here.
